HOW OUR JOURNEY BEGAN

The Canadian Tech Summit began only two years ago, but its roots reach further back. It started as the Toronto Tech Expo, a small but passionate initiative built to give students a place where their ideas were valued, explored, and taken seriously.

As interest grew, so did our ambitions. We realized there was room for something bigger, something more inclusive, something that showcased the incredible talent emerging across Canada.

Our first summit took place at IBM, where students presented projects that impressed even industry veterans. The momentum continued the next year when Slalom welcomed us into a space designed for students to experiment, learn, and connect with mentors who believed in their potential.

Now we are bringing that same energy to London, Ontario. What started as TTE has evolved into a nationwide platform rooted in collaboration, community, and opportunity. CTS is no longer just a showcase. It is a commitment to opening doors and ensuring every student gets the recognition and support they deserve.
